How to cultivate

Open the Grow Bag and remove the contents except for the clay balls.
Fill the bag with all the substrate.
Spread up to 6 seeds and bury them slightly.
Water or mist, keeping the substrate moist but not soaked.
Place in a warm location with a few hours of direct sunlight each day.
It may take 7 to 10 days to germinate and 4 to 6 months to bloom.
When the substrate appears dry (check with your finger), add a little water.

Didn’t germinate? Check if the soil is moist and if it has sunlight.

Try a greenhouse effect. Keep in a sunny spot and cover with a plastic bag or film. Let condensation form and check the results in 3-5 days.

How long does it take to grow?
The sunflower takes about 7 to 10 days to germinate. If several germinate, when leaves start to appear, you should remove the weaker ones so that the stronger ones can thrive. The sunflower can take between 4 to 6 months to bloom.
Will it grow again?
The sunflower is an annual plant, meaning it does not grow back.
How often should I water it?
The sunflower enjoys moist soil, but not soggy. Check the soil with your finger: if it feels dry, water it at the base with about a coffee cup's worth. In summer, it requires more regular watering. Remember that the Grow Bag has no drainage holes, and if it retains too much water at the bottom, it may harm the plant.
Should I place it outside or transfer it to a pot?
Our kits are designed for indoor use, in a location with light and direct sunlight, but they can also be placed outdoors. It is not necessary to transfer it to a pot; the Grow Bag has enough space for the sunflower to grow.
